The early hours of January 1 witnessed 2022’s first China-Europe freight train (Guangzhou-Manzhouli-Russia) departed from Dalang Logistics Center, kicking off another year’s trade cooperation between Guangdong and overseas countries.
This train will arrive Vorsino Station in Moscow, as far as 11,500 kilometers, on January 17.

According to statistics, a total of 128 import-export China Railway Express trains were launched from or arrive at Dalang, with 12768 Twenty-foot equivalents (TEUs) and 67,400 tons’ goods worth RMB 3.798 billion, a growth of 15.32%、22.23%、22.99% and 18.17% respectively, all hitting a record high. 2021 was also a year that saw two additional export routes to the West Europe and the Black Sea area opened and the sea-rail combined transportation route of China-EU freight train linking South Korea, China (Guangzhou) and Poland expanded.
Export services of China-EU freight train departing from Guangzhou boosted in 2021, with traditional products, such as mechanical and electrical products, clothing, household appliances, keeping a robust growth. The export volume of tea leaves and household/decorative wood products rose over 20 times year-on-year and medical instruments and devices 1.5 times, while auto parts doubled.
In 2021, the category of Made-in-Guangdong exports loaded onto Guangzhou China-Europe freight trains leaving from Dalang was expanded to more than 1400 tax categories, including communication equipment, shoes, clothing and leather goods.
